This is a working draft written to describe what the software actually does. Have a lawyer review it against your jurisdiction before you launch, and update it whenever you add a service that touches visitor data.
What we collect from shoppers
If you send a message to a store, we collect the name, email, phone number and message you type into that form. We store a one-way hash of your IP address to limit abuse of the form — not the address itself.
What happens to a message
It goes to the store you sent it to. We do not sell your details to anyone, and we do not pass them to stores you did not contact.
What we collect from store owners
An email address for signing in, plus whatever you enter about your store. Payment details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers — we store only a customer reference and your plan status.
Where listing information comes from
Business listings are built from public business records and information published by the businesses themselves. If you are a store owner and want your listing corrected or removed, ask and we will do it — free, and without requiring a reason.
Cookies
We set a session cookie when you sign in. That is what keeps you signed in, and it is the only cookie the site sets on its own.
Getting your data removed
Email us and we will delete your account, your messages, or your listing. Say which one you mean.
